Who is Bobby Lee?

I have been around the grand game of golf my entire life. A native of Hot Springs, Arkansas, I have literally taught all over the United States. My older brother David played on the PGA tour in the late 60’s and 70’s and was a contemporary of Nicklaus, Palmer and Trevino et al. The knowledge he gained from his experience and tireless research is immense and I will be forever in his debt for what he has passed on to me.

I am a Lifetime member of the PGA and have been teaching golf for 34 years now. I have taught juniors all the way up to seniors. One of my proudest accomplishments is helping a gentleman in his 70s that was paralized on one side due to a stroke. After a few weeks of working with me, he was hitting the ball straight (with the help of some creative orthotics for his golf grip) and enjoying the game he loved once again.

Though to me each student is as valuable as the next, our culture seems hung up on celebrity so I will give a brief list of those I have worked with you may have heard of. One of my biggest testimonies is from Kathleen Sullivan of TV fame. I also taught Bob Goen (from Entertainment Tonight), Tim Haldeman (comedian), Bill Sudaks (professional baseball), Kermit Alexander (professional football) and Marcus Allen (Hall of fame football player).

My most high profile success story was working with Danielle Ammaccappane, veteran of the LPGA. She had been winless on tour for 5 years when I meet her. We worked together and I was actually her caddy when she won the 1997 Edina Realty Classic to end that 5 year draught! My most recent proud moment was when Andrew Jensen, whom I taught in his teens, qualified for the Canadian tour for the 2008 season. However, my passion is the “everyman” golfer of any age. To that end, my goal is to help as many people as want to improve their game utilizing the internet and all this wonderful technology we are spoiled with today. Currently I am working out of the Central Arkansas Golf Academy in Conway, AR. However, I travel to students to spend time with them on their home courses or can meet you at several facilities in Florida, California, or a teaching facility in Hot Springs, AR. if you are interested in intensive instruction.
